Animal Aid

Animal Aid of Portland enhances the welfare of companion animals through individualized care and lifelong commitment, rescue and adoption, resources and education, and community partnerships.

Bottom Line for Portland

In 2019, Animal Aid assisted 280 companion animals: We cared for 110 cats and dogs through our rescue and adoption program, funded the spay/neuter of 144 dogs living with homeless or low-income families, and provided over $13,000 in financial assistance for urgent medical or behavioral care to 26 homed animals through our Animal Aid Cares Fund.

All donors 35 and under will be added to a raffle for a $100 gift card to Dirty Lettuce, serving 100% vegan Cajun, Creole and Southern cuisine at the Shady Pines vegan food cart pod.

The first 25 donors of $25 or more will receive a $10 gift card to Xōcotl, the juice and smoothie bar located at the Portland Mercado.

Donors of $100 or more are added to a raffle for a $200 gift card to Food Fight! Grocery, Portland's all-vegan grocery store.

“I admire the way Animal Aid makes a lifelong commitment to every pet that comes through its doors. Animal Aid embodies the Portland mindset of community over competition, choosing to partner with other organizations to make sure animals come first.” —Molly Riehl, former More Good Day Oregon host and Animal Aid supporter
