Dress for Success Oregon

To help area low-income women get work, succeed in work and become economically self-sustaining by providing them with professional clothing, employment readiness and retention services and woman-to-woman support.

Bottom Line for Portland

Last year, DFSO helped 635 women get jobs; 64 percent of those women are single mothers. Together, they are now contributing more than $16.3 million to the local economy.  Ninety-seven percent of the women in DFSO job retention programs have kept their jobs.

“I would not have the job I love or be the confident person I am today without Dress for Success. It has been their continuous support that has helped me gracefully transition back into the workforce and improve my life and my daughter’s life.” —Jackie Denny
