In 2015, HAF purchased 860 seedlings, repaved 300 feet of wheelchair-accessible trails, funded $14,000 in tree maintenance and storm damage, purchased a weather station to track the impact of climate change, managed 10,783 volunteer hours and gave tours to 325 Tree Buddies who are now tree stewards for the future.
“Hoyt Arboretum is truly a recreational, educational, environmental and social place packed into one park. It provides me with meaningful connections to people and the environment, which is what I care about most. My time is filled with awesome experiences.” —Kyoko Donaldson
