Native American Youth and Family Center

To enhance the diverse strengths of Native American youth and families in partnership with the community through cultural identity and education.

Bottom Line for Portland

Each year, NAYA Family Center’s wraparound services impact 10,000 individuals; last year, 926 youth accessed education and career programs, 739 families remained in their homes with housing and energy assistance, and 13 were able to purchase their first home.

“When the Native American community thrives, so does Portland! NAYA serves the critical needs of our Native elders, families, students and youth, and they build community among us all to support the history and value of the Native American culture.”  —Mark Holloway, CEO, Social Venture Partners
