Operation Nightwatch provides nighttime hospitality for Portland's unhoused population to promote dignity, community and social connection. Operation Nightwatch supports the physical and emotional needs of our unhoused population through providing much-needed supplies and goods, community engagement, and mental health services. We operate at night, when other agencies are closed and hope is especially hard to find.
Bottom Line for Portland
Volunteers are the heartbeat of our organization. Inspired by Operation Nightwatch’s mission, our volunteers help serve more than 23,000 unhoused guests at our downtown and Clackamas hospitality centers every year. Guests enjoy a safe place where they are welcomed with food, showers, socks, blankets, foot care, and mental health support. We create an inclusive environment where people connect and feel the respect of a supportive community.
First 20 donations over $40 will receive a $5 gift card from Deadstock Coffee Roasters.
Free bag of 12-ounce coffee for the first 15 donations of $75 from Marigold Coffee.
“I came to Nightwatch when I first became homeless and didn’t know what to do. I left knowing that, no matter how bad things got, there were people that would treat me with respect, the way all humans should be treated. I come back to inspire others in their recovery.” —Ken, former guest
