Mission

To build positive relationships with homeless and transitional youth through education, art and recreation to affirm personal worth and create healthier, more meaningful lives.

Bottom Line for Portland

Each year, p:ear works with 800 youth through Safe Space, custom mentoring, job-training programs and home-cooked meals. It’s currently seeing 55 youth per day, up from 38 kids per day two years ago.

“Thanks for always being there for me. I have art on my apartment walls that I created in p:ear when I was homeless that I look at daily to remind me of how far I’ve come. I love you guys!” —p:ear youth L., 2015
