To support young people who are committed cto changing their lives in becoming self-sufficient, contributing members of the workforce and their community. PYB serves low-income youth ages 17-24 who have dropped out of school and are looking for a second chance.
Bottom Line for Portland
Every year, Portland YouthBuilders helps 200 young people with a combination of education, vocational training, leadership development and long-term support. On average, 80 percent of PYB students finish high school and are placed in college, an apprenticeship or the workforce.
