An affordable-housing organization based in outer Southeast Portland, ROSE seeks to revitalize its neighborhood through the development of homes and economic opportunities.
Bottom Line for Portland
Over the past 25 years, ROSE has tackled a variety of community-identified needs ranging from the development of more than 430 affordable homes to a variety of programs that support residents.
“In 2007, I became homeless with a 4-year-old girl and signed up for everything under the moon. It was hard being a single parent, but in 2009 I was able to get housing. If it wasn’t for ROSE and their programs, I’d be lost.” —Kathy Moody
