Trailkeepers of Oregon

To protect and enhance the Oregon hiking experience through advocacy, stewardship, outreach and education.

Bottom Line for Portland

TKO turns trail enthusiasts into trail stewards, seeking to inspire 1,000 volunteers at 100 events this year.

I joined TKO to give back, but what I’ve gained is innately more—a great workout, interacting with fascinating people from all walks of life, and an ongoing education in outdoor skills. I feel like my getting back has far exceeded the giving back!” —Geri Marz, TKO trails stewardship volunteer

Business Partner

The first 25 donors of $100+ to TKO will receive a hiker gift package from REI Co-Op; Dig a Pony will host TKO’s Give and Get Social on Dec. 10.

How far does a $10 donation go with your organization?

$10 supplies a hard hat and a pair of work gloves for a volunteer trail steward, purchases food to fuel a crew of volunteer trail blazers, or gets a volunteer down to Salem so they can advocate to protect the trails that every Oregonian loves.

How far does a $50 donation go with your organization?

$50 to TKO means a full day of a trail crew working to protect and enhance Oregon's connections to the outdoors, making trails safe and accessible for all to enjoy.
