To offer affordable, culturally appropriate health services, including primary care, pediatric care, urgent care, specialty care and oral care, at multiple locations in East Multnomah County and the metro area to very low-income and at-risk populations.
Bottom Line for Portland
During the past year, WMC cared for 7,818 low-income people of all ages, many of whom suffer from diabetes or are at high risk of developing diabetes. More than 80 percent of patients in its diabetic program had improved test results after one year.
“The entire staff was warm and caring—and they listened! For the first time in a long time, I knew I had been heard. It was so refreshing and encouraging…this is how medical care should be.”—Patty Hicks, WMC patient
ON Semiconductor will match the first $1,000 from first-time WMC donors.
