BIPOC-Led Organization!
Wild Diversity

Mission

Wild Diversity helps to create a personal connection to the outdoors for Black, Indigenous, all people of color (BIPOC) and the LGBTQ+ communities through outdoor adventures and education.

Bottom Line for Portland

Your gift to Wild Diversity supports diversity in the wild. Your donation helps facilitate safe and welcoming space for the BIPOC, Queer and Trans communities. It helps boost BIPOC visibility in outdoor adventure and environmental stewardship. It supports leadership development training so we have leaders from within our community supporting community experiences. Your belief in our mission helps youth and adults create comfort in their abilities on land and water. The contribution you give helps facilitate healing in the outdoors. Our 2021 program outline includes: advance kayaking, leadership development training, environmental stewardship, a swimming program centered on healing, and outdoor pod education to ensure that students in our community remain in stride with their peers. We appreciate your support!
