To put a microphone to the best and most distinctive of Portland; to create a culturally relevant center for ideas, music and creativity in service of a more open media and more just community.

Bottom Line for Portland

XRAY.FM broadcasts more than 130 hours of locally produced programming each week. Last year, it provided a platform for more than 200 Pacific Northwest musicians, dozens of city and state representatives and candidates for office, and more than 150 local do-gooders working to improve life for all members of our community.

“XRAY.FM is simply the Portlandiest radio station: smart, community-based and progressive(but grounded) talk and music. Real humans make relevant broadcasting with an eye to quality, without falling prey to any particular agenda, genre or viewpoint.” —Jim Brunberg, owner, Mississippi Studios and Revolution Hall
