To inspire young people and expand their learning through the arts. YA connects artists with students to bring powerful arts-learning experiences to more than 70,000 children in the community each year.
Bottom Line for Portland
This past school year, YA brought teaching artists into the classrooms of 72,230 young people. Research shows that students who participate in the arts are much more likely to attend school, achieve good grades and graduate from high school.
