Admire Teachers

Mission

Admire Teachers' mission is to expand educational opportunities for low income K-5 Title 1 students in Portland by providing resources that are requested by teachers and beyond school budgets. 

Bottom Line for Portland

By working exclusively with Title 1 schools, Admire Teachers ensures that it is providing support to economically disadvantaged students. Students across the state are yet to recover their pandemic-era learning losses. Unfortunately, the state's school funding model does not reflect this reality. Most of the resources provided by Admire Teachers would not be acquired without Admire Teachers' support.

Incentives

Beginning on Giving Tuesday, December 2 donations up to $2,000 will be matched by a generous board member.

Nate's Oatmeal Cookies will be offering one free cookie to our first 25 local donors.

Lone Fir Fitness will offer a one-hour massage to the first three local donors over $100 starting December 1. 

Broadway Books will be offering $20 gift certificates to the first 10 local donors over $50 starting December 15. 

Oregon Museum of Science & Industry (OMSI) will provide 4 general admission tickets to the first local donor over $100 on December 20.
