Mission

Baby Blues Connection (BBC) is a nonprofit that provides free, peer-based mental health support to pregnant or postpartum parents experiencing perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. (PMADs) that is grounded in lived experience, connecting parents with others who truly understand. While PMADs are common and treatable, many face stigma, isolation, and systemic barriers that prevent them from accessing care during pregnancy and the early years of parenting. We believe no parent should feel alone.

Our services include support groups, one-on-one peer support, resource navigation and partnership with healthcare and birth professionals. The organization continues to evolve in response to community need, centering equity, accessibility, and relationship-driven support while remaining rooted in our mission: ensuring no parent has to navigate PMADs alone.

Many parents struggle to get the mental health care they need. The Oregon Health Authority reports rates of PMADs in Oregon are higher than the national average with 1 in 4 women struggling. We are a vital bridge to care, often the first voice a parent hears when they’re scared, isolated, or overwhelmed. Your donation helps us walk alongside parents at every stage.
