Call to Safety
Mission
Our mission is to end domestic and sexual violence by providing confidential support services and education to empower our community.
Bottom Line for Portland
During the holidays we see an increase 32% of calls. Call to Safety has over 50 years of experience serving survivors of domestic and sexual violence, stalking, and sex trafficking. We started as the first resource line in Oregon, in 1973, supporting survivors as the Rape Relief Line. Our in person services, case management and hospital crisis response, are based in the Portland metro area, while our support line takes calls from across Oregon. Donating to Call to Safety ensures that we are always there to answer the call for survivors.
Quote
My Call to Safety Advocate was there for me, like no one in my life had ever been before. She heard about what happened to me and affirmed that it was real and it was serious. She believed in me, in my growth as a person, and helped me understand that I belong in the world. -Anonymous Survivor
