Cascadia Health

Mission
Cascadia Health's mission is to deliver whole health care – integrated mental health and addiction services, primary care, and housing – to promote hope and support the well-being of the communities we serve.
Bottom Line for Portland
Broad community support of Cascadia’s whole health care model has meant lower health care costs, improved quality of care and improved outcomes for community members. Donations to Cascadia allow us to meet ever-increasing demand for services while evolving the way we support community members.
Donating to Cascadia’s whole health care mission means:
•Joining a movement and ending the stigma of mental illness.
•Supporting more than 15,000 individuals with integrated health care services and affordable housing solutions.
•Providing flexible client assistance funds to mitigate barriers to housing and healthcare including eviction prevention funds, one-time rental assistance, utility costs, motel and meal vouchers, and low-cost cell phones.
•Ensuring comprehensive primary care services remain available to everyone, regardless of ability to pay.
Quote
I had no hope, I never thought I’d have a place of my own or achieve my goals. Cascadia gives people that opportunity. The service is very important for people like me, who just want a chance to succeed.
--Michael, Cascadia Health client
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Cascadia recognizes that racism, particularly anti-black racism, is a public health crisis. We commit to being culturally affirming and responsive; to implement recruitment, hiring, and promotional practices that move Cascadia to more closely reflect and represent the communities we serve; to challenge ourselves to address health disparities and remove barriers to whole health care, and to hold ourselves accountable at all levels of leadership in implementing policy and practices put forth in this regard.
