College Possible’s mission is to make college admission and success possible for students from low-income backgrounds through an intensive curriculum of coaching and support.
Bottom Line for Portland
College Possible Oregon is serving more than 1,600 students on their path to becoming college graduates this year with real results, including 97% of our students in the Portland-metro area earning admission to college. Support for high school and college students has been uninterrupted during the pandemic and now, more than ever, continued support for the futures of our students is vital. College Possible believes that access to equitable education is one pillar to end systemic injustice that has persisted for generations.
“I’m so proud of myself for pushing through all of the tough times and having all of the tools College Possible and my mentors gave me in my tool belt available to use when I need them.” –Gabby, Portland State University graduate
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Going beyond visible differences, College Possible affirms the essence of all individuals including the realities, background, experiences, skills and perspectives that make each person who they are. We aspire to empower each of our students and their families to reach for college success. We strive to ensure that all of the students who seek College Possible services will have an equitable opportunity to engage in our services and, once engaged, will have equitable services and we seek to empower our students to own and honor their uniqueness and their strengths.
