Mission

ECO inspires students to care for nature and their local communities through hands-on science education and climate action.

Bottom Line for Portland

Portland has deeply invested in environmental education to build a community, connected to the natural world. ECO has educated 32,000 elementary students to care for nature through its school based programs.

Your help is so critical at this time to help ECO get Climate Action curriculum into schools, supporting students and teachers learn and teach solutions.

With your support, ECO can expand its programming to include Climate Action curriculum for middle and high school students, featuring biodiversity conservation, environmental justice, renewable energy, consumption and waste lessons to achieve actionable change.
