Harmony Academy Recovery High School
The mission of Harmony Academy is to provide a safe, sober and supportive gold standard education for youth in recovery, where they can develop the skills and strengths needed for personal, academic, vocational and community success.
Bottom Line for Portland
Harmony is celebrating the start of the fourth year as Oregon’s first and only recovery high school—a place where young people come together from all over the tri-county area to learn, heal and recover in community. The beautiful community within our small school represents the heart-led work and indomitable spirit of the young people who are courageously making room for recovery to happen. Your support during this campaign will enable us to help more students realize that, “Something Different is Possible.”
“Harmony Academy changes lives. I know because it changed ours. It is a place for kids to learn, to grow, to recover. The school is free of judgement and full of people who truly care,” J.Z., the mother of a 2021 Harmony graduate.
“I was putting myself and my life at risk every day and not caring. At Harmony, I learned to take more accountability and responsibility for all of my actions. I learned how to be in a healthy community.” M., 2020 Harmony graduate.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
