Mission
Our mission is to provide a community centered response for addressing the needs of houseless individuals by building relationships and aspiring towards wholeness.
Bottom Line for Portland
Just Compassion works with adults located in Washington County to access vital resources that bridge access to housing. We also provide congregate shelter, safe parking, short-term and long-term rental assistance and Case Management to households. We currently have a housing caseload capacity of 100 households, and we are steadily increasing.

Just Compassion is committed to ensuring that all Oregonians have access to safe, affordable, permanent housing regardless of their race, gender or gender identity, religion, age, national identity, family status, or health status and that sufficient, appropriate housing is available across income levels. We believe that those who are in a personal crisis should be able to easily access safe emergency shelter to allow them to rest and make clear, considered choices about their own path forward.
