Mission

Our mission is to advance food security by expanding reliable access to nourishing food and choice across Northwest and Downtown Portland.

Bottom Line

Rising food costs and cuts to public benefits are making it harder for Portland households to access nourishing food. Lift UP responds through neighborhood pantries, delivered groceries, and CAFE, our coalition working to address the systems and policies that shape food access. Your gift supports both immediate access and the shared work of building a more equitable, community-rooted food system.

Incentives

• Donate more than $35 to Lift UP and receive a free slice from Pizza Thief.
   
• The first four people to donate $50 or more will receive a $25 gift card to Veggie Grill.
   
• The first person to donate $50 or more on November 24 (Big Restaurant Day) and the first person to do so on December 26 (Big Wine Day) will each receive a complimentary tasting for four at SakéOne, with one certificate available each day.
   
• Beginning the week of December 15, New Seasons Market will match gifts to Lift UP, up to $2,300 total.

Pizza Thief serves sourdough pizzas and generous slices in Northwest Portland’s Slabtown, using ingredients sourced from Northwest farms, markets, and mills.
 

Veggie Grill brings bold flavors to downtown Portland with an entirely vegan menu of burgers, sandwiches, salads, and bowls.
 

SakéOne is a craft saké brewery and Japanese saké importer in Forest Grove, offering tastings and tours that introduce visitors to the craft of saké brewing. 
 

Our Streets is a Portland nonprofit expanding food access through daily meal distribution, food recovery, and community education.
 

Sisters of the Road builds community through affordable meals and works alongside people experiencing poverty and homelessness to advance systemic change.
