Amplifying young voices and igniting self-discovery through music.

Bottom Line

A donation to My Voice Music empowers youth to find and share their voice through songwriting, recording, and performance. My Voice Music provides trauma-informed music mentorship programs to 1,000 youth each year through MVM Studios in East Portland and through programs with partner organizations serving youth experiencing grief, complex trauma, and crisis throughout the Portland metro-area. Every dollar you contribute helps MVM provide no-questions-asked sliding scale scholarships. About 75% of our programs are provided for free!

GIVE!GUIDE LAUNCH TRIVIA NIGHT with Albertina Kerr

Come out to support two great causes as we celebrate the launch of this year’s Give!Guide!

Stop by Breakside Brewery DEKUM anytime from 5–9pm to enjoy a drink, connect, and support My Voice Music and Albertina Kerr, longtime program partners. And if you’re in the mood for some friendly competition, you’re welcome to join Breakside’s regular Monday night trivia, happening from 6–8pm.

My Voice Music has been bringing music programs to Albertina Kerr since MVM’s founding in 2008, making this partnership a meaningful part of both organizations’ histories.

Whether you’re there for trivia or just stopping by for a drink, 10% of all beverage sales will be donated to My Voice Music and Albertina Kerr.

MVM HOLIDAY SHOWCASE

Celebrate the holidays with MVM students at The Off Beat, an all-ages music venue run by fellow nonprofit Friends of Noise! Our students will rock their hearts out and show off what they’ve been working on this year.We’re AMPLIFYING this end of season showcase, bringing it to The Off Beat and including youth from our partner organizations, including p:ear, who we run music programs with throughout the year. Come enjoy some amazing performances, make new friends, and help amplify youth voices in our community. Admission is a suggested $10 donation through Give!Guide.
