Northwest Family Services
Mission
Northwest Family Services supports family stability, child well-being, and victims of crime by addressing the social determinants of health.
Bottom Line for Portland
At NWFS, we do more than meet needs—we empower people. Last year, over 20,000 neighbors turned to us for support with basic needs, behavioral health, housing stability, health navigation, and youth empowerment.
This year, we’re focused on protecting our Children of Incarcerated Parents and Youth Prevention programs, which have experienced funding cuts. With your help, we can ensure young people in our community continue to have access to mentorship, guidance, and the resources to grow and succeed. Every $10 helps keep these programs alive.

"NWFS' Children of Incarcerated Parents (CIP) program was a huge help in my life. It was my chance to have a guaranteed meal and time away from home." - CIP mentee
