Mission

What they do:

For more than two decades, the Oregon Cultural Trust has been empowering fellow Oregonians to support their state’s most vibrant nonprofits while encouraging them to take advantage of the Cultural Tax Credit. When you match your donations to the Oregon Cultural Trust, you can essentially direct your state taxes to support more than 1,600 arts, heritage and humanities nonprofits and receive up to a 100% refund in the form of a tax credit!  

Here’s how it works:  

     1.  Total any donations you’ve made to the Oregon Cultural Trust’s qualifying nonprofits this year.  

     2.  Donate this total amount to the Oregon Cultural Trust**  

     3.  Claim this amount on your Oregon tax form to receive up to a 100% refund in the form of a tax credit!  

**Limitations apply. Maximum tax credit amounts are $500 for individuals, $1,000 for couples filing jointly, and $2,500 for class C-corporations. Please visit culturaltrust.org for more details.
