Mission

What they do:

For more than two decades, the Oregon Cultural Trust has empowered Oregonians to support arts, heritage and humanities nonprofits while encouraging them to take advantage of Oregon's unique Cultural Tax Credit. When you match your cultural donations to the Oregon Cultural Trust, you direct a portion of your state taxes to support more than 1,650 arts, heritage and humanities nonprofits and receive a 100% refund in the form of a tax credit. 

Here’s how it works:  

     1.  Total the donations you’ve made to the Oregon Cultural Trust’s qualifying nonprofits this year.  

     2.  Donate that amount to the Oregon Cultural Trust.**  

     3.  Claim the Cultural Trust donation on your Oregon tax form to receive a 100% refund in the form of a tax credit.

**Limitations apply. Maximum tax credit amounts are $500 for individuals, $1,000 for couples filing jointly, and $2,500 for class C- and S-corporations. Please visit culturaltrust.org for more details.
