Mission

Oregon Repertory Singers is a cultural trailblazer in the Pacific Northwest, shaping the future of choral music through artistic excellence, education, and innovation. Our mission is to create beauty, evoke emotion, inspire thought, and enrich our community through powerful choral performances and accessible music education.

As one of the only large non-auditioned youth choirs in the region, Oregon Repertory Singers Youth Choir fosters community through a diverse curriculum, a Composer-in-Residence program, free or low cost invitationals, performances & concerts, summer camp, and more. We promote music literacy at all ages, including intergenerational singing, while creating an environment where young people approach others with curiosity and kindness in their pursuit of musical excellence.

Fueling Futures: ORS Youth Choir Scholarship Fund
 

Each year, the ORS Youth Choir empowers nearly 250 singers from over 100 schools and 49 zip codes across Portland and Southwest Washington. With three rehearsal sites, we make participation possible for families throughout the region.
 

But many talented young singers can only join us with financial help. That’s why we created the ORS Youth Choir Scholarship Fund—to ensure no child is ever turned away because of cost.
