Portland Audubon

Mission

To inspire all people to love and protect birds, wildlife, and the natural environment upon which life depends.

Bottom Line for Portland

By making a gift to Portland Audubon, you will be building climate resiliency for Oregon’s wildlife, wild places, and people in Portland and throughout the state. You will provide more than 4,000 injured and orphaned birds and other wildlife a second chance at life. You will be supporting more than 5,000 youth and 3,000 adults to expand their connection to the natural world by exploring nature, learning about natural history, and building community.

Quote

Thank you for making our girls' summers fun. The Audubon is one of the best summer camps they have attended. Our girls have the freedom to explore the beautiful outdoors. They love Portland Audubon and will always carry fond memories with them throughout their lifetimes. -Parent of Camp Attendees

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

The conservation movement has a long history of excluding, ignoring, and minimizing people of color in the fight for the environment. Portland Audubon recognizes that silence makes one complicit in systemic racism. That means we are committed to doing more to speak out against injustice within our own organization and beyond, to work with our Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) partners to do things differently, to center the voices of BIPOC people, and to create lasting, equitable change.

Incentives

When you make a gift of $10 or more, you will receive 10% off your non-optics purchase at the Nature Store.
