Project Lemonade

Mission
Project Lemonade inspires self-esteem to help local youth in foster care move from surviving to stability to thriving.
Bottom Line for Portland
Portland is a city that believes in community and uplifting each other.
Youth impacted by the child welfare system have been identified as some of the most under-resourced youth in our country. Youth in foster care deserve our attention, focus and support.
When asking our youth what your donation to Project Lemonade means, they said:
🧣 “It means I'll have the winter clothes I need."
💛 “It means my grandma will have more support to raise me."
🏡 “It means I had a safe place to turn to when I lost my housing, and people to help me navigate the situation.”
Quote
“I feel really happy when I show up at Project Lemonade. There's a lot that happens when I leave here that I have to deal with. When I come to Project Lemonade, I feel lighter, I feel warm, I feel welcomed, I feel loved."
-Sidisse, Program participant, involved since 2024
