Mission

PYB's mission is to help young people achieve rewarding careers and break the cycle of generational poverty by providing education and vocational training. 

Bottom Line for Portland

PYB has helped thousands of young Portlanders over our 30-year history. Donations to PYB help over 300 young people and their families stop the progression of generational poverty every year. Our students emerge from PYB with a high school education, a significant reduction or elimination of personal barriers, and an excellent career path in construction or technology.
