Mission

Our mission of SOS Lost Pet Rescue NW is quite simple; We are striving to decrease suffering by spay and neuter, free vaccine clinics, advocacy, education and adoption. Education surrounding pet ownership, proper animal care, nutrition, and animal safety. We advocate for better animal welfare laws: for better legislation, and for the ethical treatment of cats and all animals. We strive to stop the misuse of animals for financial gains thru puppy mills and backyard breeders. To advocate for the highest standards in rescues that operate in Oregon. We take our roles and responsibilities for each and every animal seriously, and ensure we are finding the absolute best matched homes and families for our rescues.

We TNR feral colonies, tame the feral kittens, assist owners with their lost pets, emergencies, facilitate owner surrenders when they can't be kept with the family, offer medical care including free vaccine clinics and low-cost microchipping to keep animals out of County shelters. We partner with many local rescues including County shelters, we provide all needed medical and dental to all animals in our care, adoptions to screened families to help ensure lifetime placement.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

We use multiple social network sites to reach as many pets in need as we can. Our adoption contracts are offered in English and Spanish. We advocate for animals and respond to pleas for help from community members needing a wide variety of assistance.
