We are dedicated to advancing oral health education, providing charitable care, and coordinating resources for Oregon's children and vulnerable communities.

Bottom Line

Many working families are being shut out of dental care. Even families who have health insurance may not be able to afford the premium or access a provider. Students in pain cannot learn and may tip off the lifetime path of success.

The Dental Foundation of Oregon's Tooth Taxi offers underserved children in Oregon the basic need of dental care. All of our care is free and is
provided on our mobile clinic, the Tooth Taxi. We will help any child who is uninsured, underinsured, rural-based, experiencing a dental emergency, or living in poverty. We collaborate with schools and neighborhood centers in all Oregon counties to bring care right to where children feel safe and do not have to miss school. We have been on the road since 2008 helping vulnerable children.

*$25 means oral hygiene kits (brush, paste, floss, timer, and mirror) to 12 children

*$50 is an x-ray, exam, fluoride varnish, and sealants to prevent future cavities for one child.

*$100 is an child x-ray, exam, cleaning, fluoride varnish, and two fillings for one child.
