Tooth pain sidelines many children in the classroom, and missing school can tip children off the path to lifetime success. With the mouth a gateway to overall wellness, if we don’t take care of the children in our state, Oregon won’t have a healthy workforce from which to choose. 

The Dental Foundation of Oregon’s Tooth Taxi is a mobile dental clinic focused on children and young people in Oregon who are uninsured, under-insured, unhoused, living in low-income homes, and young people experiencing a dental emergency.  

As a direct service provider, community support is key to our success. We partner with schools and neighborhood centers across the state to bring free dental education and care right to where children and young people spend their day. 

Since 2008, we’ve provided education and care to more than 26,000 children and young people—worth more than $9 million in care!
