Are you planning to donate to a Cultural Trust qualified nonprofit (OCT Qualified)? You can make your gift go even further with a donation to the Oregon Cultural Trust.

The Trust supports more than 1,600 arts, heritage and humanities nonprofits across the state. When you make a matching gift, you can earn up to 100% of it back as a state tax credit. In effect, you’re directing your Oregon tax dollars to support even more cultural nonprofits — from libraries to public art to festivals and beyond.

Here’s how it works:

Donate to one or more eligible cultural nonprofits (look for the “OCT Qualified” tag in the Give!Guide or check the list at culturaltrust.org)

Match that total with a gift to the Oregon Cultural Trust by December 31

Claim the matching gift as a state tax credit** on your Oregon tax return form

Your gift helps fund the stories, spaces, and creative programs that make Oregon… Oregon.

**Limitations apply. Maximum tax credit amounts are $500 for individuals, $1,000 for couples filing jointly, and $2,500 for class C- and S-corporations. Please visit culturaltrust.org for more details.
