Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center & Foundation
Mission
The mission of the Virginia Garcia Memorial health Center is to provide high-quality, comprehensive, and culturally appropriate primary health care to the communities of Washington and Yamhill counties with an emphasis on migrant and seasonal farmworkers and others with barriers to receiving care.
Bottom Line for Portland
Celebrating 50 years in 2025! Virginia Garcia is a mission-driven organization, providing high-quality, culturally and linguistically appropriate health care to our most underserved, underinsured, and uninsured community members. This year, gifts to Give!Guide will support our Mobile Health program, bringing the same high-quality, culturally appropriate care offered in our clinics to communities we serve where they live, work, and gather, and removing barriers that can exist in accessing traditional health care settings.
Quote
“At Virginia Garcia, I feel like I am at home. I do not feel like I am at a clinic.” - Aurelia, Virginia Garcia patient
