Mission

White Bird is dedicated to serving as an ambassador for the art of live dance, which brings people together and enriches their lives. By presenting a broad range of exceptional dance companies from around the world, paired with the opportunity to learn from visiting artists, White Bird makes live dance exciting, educational, and affordable for all people throughout the Portland metro area.

Ensuring fair and equitable wages for artists and crew, highlighting our values in excellence in performance and generosity of spirit. 

Continuing our NEST (No Empty Seats Today) program, which invites clients of 10 health and human service organizations to attend performances for free.

White Bird continues to revitalize downtown by championing the Portland metro region as a destination for world-class dance. With recent cuts to local, regional, and federal arts funding, your support makes all the difference!

We appreciate all gifts, no matter the size. This year we are working with many of our close partners in the community to offer rewards for giving at various levels. 

For all drawings: $10 earns one entry

Any donor age 35 or younger receive one additional entry for each donation during the applicable drawing period

Each donor $30+ receives ONE free ticket to Trinity Irish Dance Company on Saturday, November 21 at 7:30 pm (Pink Seats) 

Each donor $55+ receives TWO free tickets to Trinity Irish Dance Company on Saturday, November 21 at 7:30 pm evening (Pink Seats) 

Drawing: One winner will receive Dinner for two ($100 value) + VIP Tickets + backstage tour for Trinity Irish Dance Company on Saturday, November 21 at 7:30 pm 

Nov 16-30

Each donor $30+ receives ONE free ticket to Ballet Hispánico New York (Pink Seats) 

Each donor $55+ receives TWO free tickets to Ballet Hispánico New York (Pink Seats) 

Drawing: One winner will receive Four Nutcracker Tickets + Dinner for two ($100 value) + Parking Voucher (specific evening?)

Each donor $30+ receives ONE free ticket to Social Tango Project on Wednesday, January 20 at 7:30 pm (Pink Seats)

Each donor $40+ receives an invitation for two to our private Winter/Spring preview event on April 6 at *time TBD
