Join Friends of Family Farmers, Rogue Farm Corps, Adelante Mujeres, and Black Oregon Land Trust to celebrate all the programs helping farmers find land security in Oregon. These four organizations coordinate efforts through the Oregon Community Food Systems Network Land and Capital Technical Assistance Working Group to make change. According to American Farmland Trust, Oregon has the fastest rising farmland prices per acre on the West Coast. With the age of the average Oregon Farmer still close to 60, it is crucial for us to take action to make farmland accessible to the next generation of farmers to prevent further corporate consolidation and industrialization in our food system. Come celebrate some of the organizations helping new farmers get ready for land security and find the right piece of land for their farm dream.
