Oregon Journalism Project

Mission
Oregon Journalism Project’s mission is to inform, engage, and empower Oregonians with the kind of data-driven and solution-seeking investigative reporting that makes a significant impact at the state and local levels — serving no agenda other than a pursuit of the truth.
Bottom Line for Portland
OJP breaks big stories: our reporting led to the resignation of both the Chair of the Oregon GOP and the CEO of Travel Oregon. This year, we've been reporting on the underperformance of PERS' private equity portfolio, ODOT spending, the aftermath of the Santiam Canyon wildfires, and the restoration of the Deschutes River - and much more!
In Portland, you'll likely encounter our journalism in Willamette Week, which is one of our 46 publishing partners. If you live in Bend, you'll find our work in the Source Weekly, and if you're in Medford you'll find it in the Rogue Valley Times. Visit our website for a full list of publishing partners.
