AMP (Artist Mentorship Program)
Mission
AMP supports youth navigating the trauma of homelessness by creating community, relationships, and music and arts mentorships that build self-esteem, confidence, and pathways out of homelessness.
Bottom Line
AMP is working toward a Portland where youth experiencing homelessness are met with belonging instead of barriers, and where the young people most often failed by traditional systems find a clear path out. Through music, art, and relationships built on trust, we help youth heal from trauma, connect to the resources they need, and discover what they are capable of. We believe ending youth homelessness is a shared responsibility, and we invite every Portlander to help carry it.
