Mission

Our mission is to connect young people with diverse arts and creative experiences, and make the arts abundantly accessible in their schools and communities.

Bottom Line for Portland

Arts for Learning Northwest’s (ALNW) programs are as diverse as the region that we serve. Our arts enrichment core roster program includes 120 artists and growing in all areas of the performing, visual, and literary arts who conduct residencies, workshops, installation projects, and performances at 128 schools across Oregon and SW Washington. These programs are often customized to meet the needs of the specific school and classrooms in which these artists work.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

We believe in centering a diversity of thought, experience, and perspectives, and working together to create liberatory spaces where all can thrive.
