Mission

Our mission at Clackamas Free Clinic (aka Clackamas Volunteers in Medicine, fka The Founders Clinic) is to serve the health needs of adults in the Clackamas County area who are low income and do not have health insurance, by providing free and inclusive medical care through dedicated medical and community volunteers.

Quote

“Clackamas Free Clinic is a big help to the community. Before, I didn’t pay attention to my health, but I’ve learned a lot at the clinic. I quit smoking, drink more water, and take things more seriously. I would be dead if I wouldn’t have received help from here. Even though I’ve had insurance off and on over the years, I know I’m always welcome to come back if I need.”  - Manuel, patient

“I love how much everyone cares to be here for the community. The volunteers, staff, and patients have brought so much growth and kindness to me as I navigate this new and exciting step in my life. I can’t stress how impactful this environment has been for me as a new medical student.”
– Stephanie K., Clackamas Community College Student MA volunteer
