Provide our community an open door to the joy of reading, lifelong learning, and personal enrichment, with an emphasis on the literacy development of children.

Your gift will support the libraries’ Bookshare Program, which delivers books and activity kits to thousands of kids in daycare each month. Access to books and reading together are two of the best ways to build a lifelong love of reading in young children. Last year, we delivered more than 68,000 books to children in daycare while supporting childcare providers in their important work. As the libraries celebrate 50 years of serving the community, join us as we continue to enrich the lives of our youngest members.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Delivering books and other library services to childcare providers and the children in their care removes library access barriers. Bookshare offers books in 25 different languages providing children with the essential opportunity to learn to read in their home language.  We build relationships and engage in partnerships to encourage a love of reading and learning in every young community member.
