Girls on the Run Greater Oregon

Mission
Girls on the Run inspires girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum that creatively integrates running.
Bottom Line for Portland
Now is the time to increase investments in the social, emotional and physical wellness of girls. Girls on the Run is doing just that in the greater Portland area. With your support, we can provide financial assistance to families in need so we can say “Yes!” to any girl who wants to join a team!
Quote
My daughter became close friends with a classmate who she did not know very well previously due to a language barrier. They had a similar "happy pace" and started running together [and] found that they have a lot of fun together even if speaking to each other is still a little bit difficult. I don't think she would have built the connection if not for GOTR.
