HomePlate Youth Services

Mission
HomePlate uplifts and empowers young people experiencing housing instability through community building, education, and access to services and resources.
Bottom Line for Portland
HomePlate envisions communities where homelessness is a short-term circumstance, not a long-term or chronic condition, and youth are supported in their communities.
We strive to disrupt cycles of homelessness by:
- - supporting youth in self-sufficiency;
- - education exploration;
- - workforce development;
- - and community.
Our community thrives because we don’t wait for solutions—we make them happen, together.
Quote
"When I found myself without a home, without food, without hope, HomePlate was there to catch me...HomePlate didn't just meet my needs; they invested in my future." - Kody, 21
“Chance for change…to be respected and liked for who I am, not what I do.” –Matthew, 24
