The Miracles Club

New
BIPOC-Led Organization

Mission

Bringing a community together one person at a time. We serve the African American recovery community.

Bottom Line for Portland

We help people of color find a place to recover in place where the people look like each other An atmosphere of compassion, understanding and empathy. We recognize our struggles as people of color and help each other through the struggles of life with out judgement.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

TMC is the only African American SUD Community Recovery Center in Oregon, and one of only a few in the United States. Founded in 1995, TMC has been an important part of this community for almost three decades because it advances anti-racism, equity and inclusion by providing culturally specific, wholistic peer-provided recovery support services.

Partner(s)

TMC has fiscal partnerships with MAAPPs, 4D Community Recovery Center, Bridges to Change, Central City Concern, Oregon Health Authority and HealthShare.  Recently, we established a new fiscal partnership with the Quest Center to provide onsite outpatient SUD services for African Americans.
