Operation Nightwatch - Portland

Mission

Operation Nightwatch provides evening hospitality for Portland’s unhoused population to promote community, dignity, and social connection.

Bottom Line

If you didn't have a roof over your head, where would you go?

Where could you go to feel some semblance of dignity and safety?

We welcome our unhoused and low-income neighbors to our Downtown Hospitality Center every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening, when human connection is hard to come by when most services are closed - offering hot coffee, a simple meal, basic supplies, and no-barrier mental health services..

We believe that treating people with care and respect matters, and that every person deserves to feel wanted and safe.

"Operation Nightwatch's hospitality is seeing every person as an individual who is worthy of respect and honoring them as an equal" -Grace Rodriguez
