Mission

At PDX Saints Love, we nurture compassion in Portland by building bridges that restore our neighborhoods. Our mission is to provide access to basic needs, wraparound services, and most importantly, a sense of belonging for everyone, regardless of their circumstances. We aim to remove barriers and create equitable opportunities, ensuring no one is left behind.

People experiencing homelessness aren’t outside of our community. They are a part of our community. Healthy cities aren’t built by pushing people aside, but when neighbors come together and care for one another. By building relationships instead of reinforcing labels and stereotypes, by offering belonging instead of exclusion, we create healthier neighborhoods where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

We’re teaming up with each of the following partners to amplify each other’s work and help more Portlander’s discover ways to support our shared community. 

PDX Saints Love and We Shine PDX ( https://weshinepdx.org/) help us connect participants with safe, temporary shelter while we provide ongoing case management and individualized support to help them move toward long-term housing stability. 

PDX Saints Love and Blanchet House (https://blanchethouse.org/) partner to connect individuals with the support they need to move forward, linking those seeking substance use recovery with Blanchet House’s recovery services, and those in recovery with meaningful employment opportunities through our workforce development program. 

PDX Saints Love and Sisters of the Road (https://www.sistersoftheroad.org/) are joining forces to build an 82nd Avenue coalition that strengthens collaboration among homeless service providers to create a more connected network of support for our neighbors experiencing homelessness.

Our Streets (https://ourstreets.org/) partners with PDX Saints Love monthly to provide dinner at our Day Center on the 1st Friday of every month. 

PDX Saints Love and the Sunnyside Shower Project (https://www.sunnysideshowerproject.org/) share a commitment to dignity, connection and compassionate support for our unhoused and housing insecure neighbors. 
 

Century Decor Studio (https://centurydecorstudio.com/) brings creativity and care to PDX Saints Love’s annual gala, helping us create a meaningful celebration of life and love for our community and our mission.
