YWCA of Greater Portland is on a mission to eliminate racism, empower women, and promote peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. 

Bottom Line

Housing for Survivors - We operate 6 Communities of Restoration and Healing (CoRHs) providing transitional and permanent housing for survivors and their children

• Community for Seniors - Serve over 800 low-income seniors annually through case management, insurance counseling, transportation assistance, support groups, activities and more

• Free Therapy -We provide over 600 accessible trauma-focused therapy sessions annually to help survivors and their children heal from domestic violence
•  
• Confidential Advocacy for Survivors - Our advocates offer resource navigation, financial assistance, safety planning, and other wraparound support services at Gateway Center
•  
• Community Building- YWCA fiscally sponsors 19 local and culturally specific programs
