Latino Network

Mission
To positively transform the lives of latino youth, families, and communities.
Bottom Line for Portland
Latino Network promotes equity through our transformational programs that are aimed at educating and empowering Multnomah, Washington, and Clackamas county Latinos. Low achievement scores, youth violence, and high drop-out rates undermine the Latinx community’s potential. We address these issues by promoting early literacy, encouraging parent involvement, working with gang-involved and adjudicated youth and families, and providing academic support and activities to high school-aged youth. In this way, we ensure that we are consistently providing programming that is in line with our mission, which is to positively transform the lives of Latino youth, families, and communities.
Quote
"Por Qué No is a supporter of Latino Network because their work empowers and creates a thriving ecosystem for Latinx voices and communities in Portland and Oregon, which makes us a stronger and better city and state."
