Mission

Xcelerate’s mission is to help women and gender expansive business owners overcome systemic inequities to grow their businesses and build economic power now. By providing access to gender and culturally competent resources such as Business Advising, Peer Mentorship, and Growth Education, we help women entrepreneurs increase their self-efficacy and overcome internal and external barriers to personal and business growth. Through Xcelerate, women-owned businesses connect and contribute to a vibrant and growing community that’s changing the face of success in business to be more inclusive, authentic, and sustainable.

Women business owners have the power to transform communities—creating jobs, building wealth, and modeling inclusive leadership as they grow their businesses. Xcelerate makes that growth possible through tailored coaching, mentorship, and education for women and gender-expansive business owners. In 2024, we supported 581 business owners across Portland Metro who generated $17.5M in revenue and 446 local jobs.
