Created for students, by students in 1969.

College Housing Northwest is a non-profit organization that enhances student success by creating supportive housing communities, providing programs and services, and reducing the financial burden for students.

Bottom Line

Nearly 60% of college students face food or housing insecurity, and 1 in 5 experience homelessness. Despite huge need, outdated federal rules exclude most students from traditional affordable housing. College Housing Northwest (CHNW) provides affordable housing with no required rental or credit history, low fees and deposits, onsite food pantries, and monthly events to foster community, stability, and opportunity.
