Mission

Community Warehouse provides donated furniture and household items to neighbors seeking the comfort, dignity and stability of a furnished home while overcoming adversity.

Bottom Line for Portland

A newly formed coalition of furniture banks, Furnish Together, found that 73% of furniture bank clients nationwide are missing three or more essential items (think mattresses, dining room tables, and lamps). We work together with over 200 partner agencies in the Portland metro area to connect those household essentials to our neighbors seeking housing stability. With three furniture bank locations, we are able to furnish 70 homes per week, building security, self-sufficiency, and brighter futures for over 7,500 people per year.

The Estate Store is the social enterprise arm of Community Warehouse, turning non-essential home items into funds to support our furniture bank program.

Mississippi Studios is a music venue in NE Portland built, owned, and operated by and for musicians. They offer incredible acoustics, sight lines, and put on some of the best shows in the city.
Breitenbush Hot Springs is a beautiful hot springs retreat in Detroit, Oregon. Their mission is to provide a safe and potent environment where people can renew and evolve in ways they never imagined.
