Mission

Community Warehouse provides donated furniture and household items to neighbors seeking the comfort, dignity and stability of a furnished home while overcoming adversity.

Bottom Line

As the region’s only large-scale furniture bank, Community Warehouse serves as a critical link between housing placement and long-term stability. While securing housing is an essential first step, families often move into their new homes with little or no furniture. CW fills this gap by providing donated beds, mattresses, sofas, tables, chairs, dressers, kitchenware, and other essentials to create safe, comfortable, and stable homes. We furnish more than 65 homes every week across our three locations (Portland, Tigard, and Gresham), diverting more than 1,300 tons of usable goods from landfills annually, demonstrating the environmental value of our reuse model.
